Express Entry draw history: passing score and number of invitations
Statistics of Express Entry selections that get people invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada.
Express Entry is a system that processes applications for immigration under federal programs and some provincial ones. Sending out invitations is called a draw or round of invitations.
Usually, every two weeks the system sends out from several hundred to several thousand invitations to apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada. To receive an invitation, a candidate must score a passing number of points according to the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The passing score varies from draw to draw.
If candidates have the same scores, then the tie-break rule applies, when, in addition to the scores, the date and time when the applicants published their profiles in the Express Entry system are taken into account. Therefore, the tie-break rule means that all candidates who received ITAs in a given draw had published their profiles before a certain date.
