Express Entry selection invited even more candidates
The passing score in the new selection has become higher.
On October 27, the Government of Canada sent 888 invitations to candidates registered in the Express Entry system. Candidates from provincial programs participated in the drawing.
According to Complex ranking system, the minimum passing score was 744. The high level of passing score can be explained by the provincial nomination of candidates. The nomination automatically adds another 600 points to the candidate's score.
The Express Entry system selects immigrants through three federal programs:
- Highly skilled professionals;
- specialists in the working professions;
- specialists with experience in Canada.
