Three of the four drawings since the beginning of the year were a record number of invitations.

On February 2 and 16, Canada held selections for applicants registered in the Express Entry system and who had participated in provincial immigration programs. The drawings were a record number of invited applicants in that category.

The invitations and minimum passing grades on the Complex Ranking System were distributed as follows:

  • February 2 — 1,070 candidates, minimum score 674;
  • February 16 — 1,082 candidates, minimum score 710.

The points requirement may seem high, but that's because all invited participants have previously received provincial nominations.
