A real winter is coming to Canada

It's time for cold weather and snow.

One storm after another is coming to Canada. At the very beginning of December, one such storm has already hit Alberta and Saskatchewan with freezing rain, and this weekend it will cover the east of the country. Ontario will be the first to face real winter cold, and the island of Newfoundland will be completely covered with snow.

However, the west coast is also too early to relax — another atmospheric front is coming to British Columbia, so the residents of Vancouver and Victoria will not be able to complain about the lack of precipitation, even if the temperature there will not allow you to play in the snow.

In the coming days, snow and cold rains will cover all of Canada. In Manitoba, for example, predict up to 10-15 centimeters of precipitation. At the same time, the weather will range around freezing temperatures. That means both thawing and ice are likely.

Snow-covered Alberta also got a little respite — up to four degrees Celsius, but it will get colder there on Sunday. Weather forecasters are all talking about warmer atmospheric fronts that have taken over Canada and are holding more moisture. Therefore, rain and snowfall will be very heavy in all provinces in the coming days.
