The Canadian Visa Center in Lviv resumes its work

People will be able to submit biometric data without leaving Ukraine.

On July 13, 2022 the visa center in Lviv will open again — but only for biometric data, other services will not be provided yet. The visa center in Kiev is still closed.

Working hours of the Lviv Center: 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m., by appointment. Saturday and Sunday are days off.

After applying for Canada-Ukraine Emergency Entry Permit (CUAET) and receiving a letter from Immigration Canada, you can make an appointment to submit biometric data. To do this, you need to register at the website of VFS Global, an organization that opens accredited visa centers of different countries around the world.

Our website has detailed instructions on how to apply and take biometrics, as well as interviews with Ukrainians who have already arrived in Canada: with Eugene in Montreal, Lena's extended family in Toronto and Olga, who found an employer in advance.

As of June 28, the Department of Immigration had registered 343,283 applications under the CUAET program and approved 146,461 applications.
