Immigration to Saskatchewan through the Tech Talent Pathway

The Tech Talent Pathway pilot stream is designed for qualified candidates who have work experience in technology and innovation and have received a job offer in Saskatchewan.

Eligibility

The Tech Talent Pathway stream is divided into two subcategories: candidates who have a profile in the Express Entry system, and non-Express Entry candidates who will be selected through Saskatchewan's internal system.

Express Entry candidates must meet the following requirements:

• meet the requirements of one of the three federal immigration programs:
  • Federal Skilled Worker;
  • Canadian Experience Class;
  • Federal Skilled Trades;
• receive a job offer in Saskatchewan in one of the appropriate occupations (list below);
• have 1 year of professional experience within the past 5 years or 6 months of experience in Saskatchewan;
• have a completed education for at least a 2-year academic program.

Non-Express Entry candidates must meet the following requirements:

• receive a job offer in Saskatchewan in one of the appropriate occupations;
• have 1 year of professional experience within the past 5 years or 6 months of experience in Saskatchewan;
• have a completed education for at least a 2-year academic program;
• demonstrate proficiency in English or French language at level 5 on the CLB scale (not obligatory for candidates already working in the province).
