There is a great demand for these specialists in one of the Canadian provinces.

The Canadian government has released a labour market study of the province of Quebec, highlighting occupations affected by the pandemic. They can include salespeople, cooks, administrative assistants. Many representatives of these professions lost their jobs because businesses were shut down. However, the demand for other specialists, on the contrary, has increased.

1. Information systems analysts and consultants

Most of their activities can be performed remotely or in the office with observance of distance, so such specialists have not faced layoffs. Now analysts and consultants are quite in demand, as many companies continue to work remotely. During the pandemic, employment in this area increased by 30.9%.

2. Delivery drivers

The security measures imposed because of COVID-19 have triggered an enormous demand for deliveries from retail stores as well as food from cafés and restaurants. The employment of delivery drivers increased by 62.4% during the pandemic! By the way, they can not only work for some company, but also be self-employed.
