Immigration VS the third wave of the crown: who is who?
Sharing the latest significant events in our weekly selection.
Immigration news
Last week, the new selection process for Ontario's provincial program went into effect.
Immigration Canada has delighted many with a new announcement, according to which anyone who received confirmation of permanent residency after March 18, 2020, will be allowed to come to Canada even with expired documents.
According to a new study, small Canadian cities are gaining popularity among immigrants. Read about the prospects for immigration to small and mid-sized Canadian cities in our article.
The week was rich with immigration selections, 6 in total:
- Canada sent 183 invitations to candidates registered on Express Entry, and the next day held another round for participants in another stream, sending out 5,000 invitations;
- Prince Edward Island has sent 150 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination;
- Manitoba sent out 299 invitations;
- Alberta released the results of the selection process, which invited 200 candidates;
- British Columbia sent 506 invitations.
Relaxation of restrictions
It's finally here! British Columbia has allowed gathering outdoors in groups of up to 10 people, and Toronto's mayor has announced that cafes and restaurants should resume their operations in the coming weeks.
Third wave

The question immediately arises: what will happen to emigration? After all, it stands to reason that the authorities will be forced to impose new restrictions again. All the details in my new video.
