Prince Edward Island held a new selection

The province has extended invitations to three streams of candidates in the new round.

On March 18, Prince Edward Island sent out 150 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination.

The drawing included 10 invitations to the entrepreneurial stream candidates with at least 70 points. As well as 140 candidates streams for those who are registered in the Express Entry system and have received an invitation to submit an initial application, and those who have the skills and experience needed in the provincial job market.

The last stream includes the following directions:

  • skilled professionals who are currently working for a Prince Edward Island employer;
  • foreigners who are currently working for a Prince Edward Island employer in a C or D NOC classification;
  • graduates who have graduated from an accredited Prince Edward Island institution of higher education and are now working in the province.

The province did not provide a breakdown of the number of candidates invited between all streams, nor the minimum score required for each category.

To maximize your chances of receiving an invitation to submit a nomination, we recommend keeping an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
