Manitoba had its last draw in 2023
There weren't many invitations this time.
The province of Manitoba decided to give a New Year's gift to immigration applicants and held a new drawing on December 28. A total of 254 invitations were sent out and 53 approved applicants had an Express Entry profile.
The invitations were distributed among several streams:
- Skilled Worker in Manitoba — 160 invitations, passing score of 612 (only candidates with close relatives in the province were considered this time);
- Skilled Worker Overseas — 27 invitations, passing score of 698;
- International Education Stream — 67 invitations, no passing score required:
Manitoba awards points for age, education, work experience, language skills, and other factors.
In its previous immigration selection on December 21, the province invited only skilled workers overseas. And a drawing for all applicants was held on December 14.
