Immigration to Manitoba for graduates with job offer
The International Education – Career Employment category of Manitoba's provincial program allows university graduates who have found employment in the province to obtain a permanent residency.
The International Education — Career Employment stream allows those who have graduated in Manitoba and found an in-demand job in the province to obtain permanent residency in Canada.
Eligibility
You must meet the following requirements to apply for immigration:
- have completed a minimum of one year's academic program at a Manitoba post-secondary institution within the past 3 years;
- demonstrate proficiency in English or French at level 7 on the CLB scale (above average);
- get a job offer in one of the eligible professions;
- live in Manitoba at the time of application;
- show enough money to support yourself and your family members.
Settlement funds
You must show money in your account for the first 6 months after you receive your permanent residency. The requirement is waived if you are already working for a local employer at the time of application.

How to apply
If you are interested in immigrating to Manitoba through the Career Employment stream, you can register on the provincial "Expression of Interest" system. Successful candidates receive invitations in special draws. Unlike other Manitoba programs, there are no passing scores in draws for graduates.
