Immigration to Manitoba for graduates with a job offer

The International Education – Career Employment category of Manitoba's provincial program allows university graduates who have found employment in the province to obtain permanent residency.

The International Education — Career Employment Pathway offers a fast track to permanent residence in Canada for those who graduated from a Manitoba university and found employment in the province in an in-demand occupation.

Eligibility requirements

To apply, you must meet the following criteria:

  • complete an academic program of at least 1 year at a Manitoba institution within the last 3 years;
  • demonstrate English or French language proficiency at CLB level 7 (upper-intermediate) or higher;
  • receive a job offer in one of the in-demand occupations and be working in the province at the time of application;
  • be living in Manitoba when applying;
  • show sufficient funds to support yourself and family members: at least CA$10,000 for the main applicant and CA$2,000 for each family member.

How to apply

If you're interested in immigrating to Manitoba through the graduate stream with a job offer, you can register in the provincial Expression of Interest system. Successful candidates receive invitations in the draws. Unlike other Manitoba programs, there is no minimum score requirement for graduates in these draws.
