Quebec published the May 4 immigration draw

Passing scores have dropped significantly.

On May 4, Quebec held another drawing for skilled workers.

The region selected 802 people; they had to meet one of the requirements: have a job offer outside of Montreal and its suburbs or score at least 575 points on the Arrima system and have one of the listed occupations:

The previous selection in Quebec was held on April 20. The passing score was much higher, but invitations were issued to all candidates regardless of their occupation.

Quebec is the only province in Canada with its own immigration system. The region sets the criteria for selecting applicants independently of the federal government.

Arrima evaluates language skills (primarily French), work experience, age, education, profession, and whether you have a job offer in Canada.

Follow the Quebec selection history for up-to-date information on passing scores and the number of invitations issued.
