B.C. sent out invitations to PMJs

The province has pulled another immigration prank.

On Nov. 28, British Columbia held a new immigration screening among applicants in different categories. The province sent out a total of 185 invitations.

80 of these were distributed among the following categories:

For Skilled Worker and International Graduate, the pass mark has increased slightly from the previous general selection held on November 16.

Another 105 applicants were invited because of their in-demand profession — we wrote more about them in a separate article. Some of these applicants were registered in the federal system Express Entry:

The minimum score for educators and medical staff was 60, as before. And construction experts had to score at least 75 points. British Columbia awards points for work experience, education, language skills, employer location and salary.
