New targeted draw from British Columbia

The province invited skilled workers with priority professions.

On April 25, British Columbia held a targeted draw for the provincial immigration program candidates. This time, 168 applicants with in-demand professions were selected.

Invitations were extended to candidates under the Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams, including those with a profile in the Express Entry system.

The invitations were distributed as follows:

The previous target selection was held on April 11. The passing score for technicians was slightly lower — 85. For educators and healthcare professionals, there was a round of invitations on April 18, and the minimum scores were unchanged.

British Columbia awards points for language skills, education, work experience, employer location, and salary. All applicants must find a job in the province before applying for immigration.
