Quebec shared the results of its December draw

The province invited professionals with in-demand occupations.

Quebec shared the results of the immigration draw, which took place on December 15. The region sent out 1,047 invitations to skilled workers.

Candidates had to score a minimum of 571 points on the Arrima system, find a job outside Montreal and its suburbs, and have one of the appropriate occupations:

The previous draw in Quebec took place on December 8. In the new draw, the passing score dropped by 20 points.

Quebec is the only province in Canada that has its own immigration system and sets its own criteria for selecting candidates independently of the federal government. In 2023, Quebec intends to approve 52,500 candidates for immigration.

The Arrima system evaluates language skills (primarily French), age, work experience, education, occupation, and availability of a job offer in Quebec.

We recommend that you follow the draw history to keep up to date with the current passing scores and the number of invitations.
