An immigration draw was held in the province of Manitoba
Different categories of applicants are invited.
The province of Manitoba held its first immigration draw for 2024. A total of 423 people received invitations, 73 of whom were registered with Express Entry.
The selections took place in several streams:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba (general) — 166 invitations, pass rate 823;
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba with close relatives in the province — 168 invitations, pass rate 607;
- Skilled Workers Overseas — 31 invitations, pass mark 639;
- international educational stream — 58 invitations, no passing score required:
Previous drawings were held under the New Year: a separate for Ukrainians on December 29 and general for all candidates on December 28. Passing scores were higher then, especially in the stream for skilled workers abroad.
Manitoba awards points for age, education, work experience, language skills and other factors.
