Manitoba has implemented a new immigration screening process
The province invited applicants from different categories.
On Nov. 30, the province of Manitoba held another immigration draw in which it sent out 268 invitations. 50 of the invitations went to applicants with Express Entry profiles.
Candidates from several streams participated in this selection process:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba — 148 invitations, minimum score of 609 (only profiles of applicants with close relatives in the province were considered this time);
- Skilled Wworkers Overseas — 38 invitations, minimum score 720;
- International Education Stream — 82 invitations with no minimum score:
This time, the passing scores are lower than the previous selection held November 16.
Manitoba points are awarded for education, language skills, work experience, age, ties to the province and other regions of Canada.
