Manitoba sent out hundreds of invitations
The province held another raffle.
Manitoba held another immigration screening on Nov. 2. A total of exactly 400 invitations were sent out, 60 of them to candidates registered in the Express Entry system.
Candidates from several streams participated in this draw:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba — 204 invitations, minimum score of 785;
- Skilled Workers Overseas — 65 invitations, minimum score of 708;
- International Education Stream — 131 invitations, no minimum grade required:
Manitoba awards points for education, language skills, work experience, age, ties to the province and other regions of Canada.
The last drawing of invitations was held October 5, then, in addition to the general selection, there was also a target selection — for representatives of in-demand professions. The passing scores then were much lower, by more than a hundred points.
