British Columbia held a draw for qualified individuals

Candidates with prioritized occupations received invitations.

On September 26, British Columbia held another round of immigration selections for professionals with in-demand occupations. Up to 209 applicants among skilled workers and international graduates, including those who registered under the federal Express Entry system, received invitations.

Invitations were distributed among the following professions:

Professionals with tech occupations had to score 90 points under the provincial scoring system, while other candidates had to score 60 points. Points are awarded for work experience, education, language skills, employer location and salary.

The province held the previous selections a week ago, Sept. 19. Scores for in-demand occupations remain largely unchanged, but for tech workers, who were last invited September 12, the pass rate has increased by two points.
