Manitoba shared a new immigration screening process

More than 600 candidates will be able to get PML in the province.

On August 24, Manitoba released a new immigration draw that invited 623 applicants. Some of them had certain in-demand occupations.

The general draw, for all occupations, included applicants from several streams:

In a separate selection for in-demand occupations, Manitoba issued 256 invitations to candidates who scored a minimum of 612 points and had the following occupations:

  • general trades;
  • mail and message distribution, other transport equipment operators and related maintenance workers;
  • helpers and labourers and other transport drivers, operators and labourers.

Out of the total number of candidates invited in this draw, 178 candidates were registered in Express Entry.

The last selection in Manitoba took place on August 10. Scores for skilled workers in Manitoba went down 1 point and for workers overseas went up 16 points.
