Manitoba's immigration selection on August 10

Manitoba

The province again issued more than 600 invitations.

On August 10, Manitoba selected 615 people in a new immigration draw. Some of the invitations went to candidates with certain occupations.

Applicants from several streams participated in the general selection:

In the targeted selection, 249 candidates who scored a minimum of 605 points and had occupations in one of the two sectors were invited:

  • machine operators, assemblers and inspectors in processing, manufacturing and printing;
  • labourers in processing, manufacturing and utilities.

Of the total number of invitees, 43 candidates were registered in Express Entry.

The province held the previous such selection on July 27. The minimum scores were slightly higher. And on July 28, a special drawing for Ukrainian citizens was held.

Manitoba's provincial program awards points for education, language skills, age, work experience, connections to the province and other regions of Canada.

If you want to move to Manitoba, be sure to keep an eye on the history of immigration selections in the region.
