More than 600 invitations to immigrate to Manitoba
The province held two draws.
On July 27 and 28, immigration drawings were held in Manitoba. The first drawing was for all candidates, and the second one was only for Ukrainian citizens.
On July 27, the province invited 609 people in several streams:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba — 202 invitations, a minimum score of 649;
- Skilled Workers Overseas — 21 invitations, a minimum score of 717;
- International Education Stream — 51 invitations, no minimum score required:
In addition, Manitoba selected 335 skilled workers who scored a minimum of 614 points and work in the province in the following sectors:
- retail sales and service supervisors and specialized occupations in sales and services;
- sales and service representatives and other customer and personal services occupations;
- sales and service support occupations.
Out of the total number of selected candidates, 106 invitations were received by applicants who were registered with Express Entry.
On July 28, a selection was held for Ukrainian citizens. 21 invitations were sent and candidates had to fulfill several criteria:
