Manitoba has invited candidates of different categories to apply for permanent residency
Another provincial selection.
The province of Manitoba held its second immigration draw for January. A total of 275 people were invited on January 25, 29 of whom were registered in the Express Entry system.
Selections were made in the following categories:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba — 156 invitations, pass rate of 772 (this time the draw included applicants with a completed post-secondary education in the province);
- Skilled Workers Overseas — 41 invitations, pass mark 713;
- International Education Stream — 78 invitations, no passing score required:
The previous draw in Manitoba took place earlier this year, on January 11, and the pass rates for the skilled worker stream in the province were noticeably higher then. For skilled overseas workers, however, they went up. Manitoba awards points for age, education, work experience, language skills and other factors.
