Canada's job fair for skilled and trades workers
The Canadian province repeats last year's event.
The province of New Brunswick continues to register for the 2023 virtual job fair. It is open to many professionals, as well as their spouses.
At the fair, you can see employers from the province, have an interview, and get a job offer. A job offer allows you to come to Canada on a work visa and also to apply for permanent residency.
Requirements
The fair is open to candidates who have at least 1 year of experience in the following occupations:
- human resources managers;
- construction managers;
- human resource professionals;
- human resources and recruitment specialists;
- storekeepers and partspersons;
- computer engineers;
- information systems specialists;
- database analysts and data administrators;
- software engineers and designers;
- programmers and software developers;
- web designers;
- web developers;
- deck officers;
- engineer officers at water transport;
- computer network and web technicians;
- user support technicians;
- information systems testers;
- translators, interpreters, and terminologists;
- food service supervisors;
- restaurant and food service managers;
- sales representatives in wholesale trade;
- customer service representatives at financial institutions;
- customer and information services representatives;
- contractors and supervisors in carpentry trades;
- machinists and machining and tooling inspectors;
- plumbers;
- carpenters;
- insulators;
- heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning mechanics;
- automotive service technicians, truck and bus mechanics, and mechanical repairers;
- residential and commercial installers and servicers;
- transport truck drivers;
- landscaping and grounds maintenance labourers;
- sawmill machine operators;
- labourers in food and beverage processing;
- labourers in processing, manufacturing, and utilities;
- woodworking machines operators.
How to register
To attend the fair, you need to fill out a form on the official New Brunswick website. To register, you will need:
- Canadian-format CV (required);
- educational credentials evaluation (if available);
- language test results (if available).
If you want to participate in the fair with your spouse, they need similar documents.
The registration form will also ask you to answer a few questions in video format.
Please note that filling out the form does not guarantee your participation in the fair. The selection committee will review all the forms and send invitations. Those who are invited will be notified of the exact date and time of the event.
