Manitoba dropped points in a new drawing
Who was invited this time?
On January 26, Manitoba held a new draw under the provincial immigration program. A total of 336 professionals and graduates were selected.
Invitations and passing scores were distributed as follows:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba — 253 invitations, a minimum score of 726;
- Skilled Workers Overseas — 23 invitations, a minimum score of 713;
- International Educational Stream — 60 invitations, no passing grade required:
Of all invited candidates, 32 had an Express Entry profile.
The previous immigration draw from Manitoba was held on January 12. Passing scores for workers in Manitoba have dropped significantly, while those for workers overseas have remained unchanged.
The province awards points for factors such as age, language skills, work experience, education, connections to Manitoba, and connections to other regions of Canada.
