Manitoba's first December draw
This time fewer candidates were chosen, but the passing scores went down.
On December 2, Manitoba held a new draw under the provincial immigration program. This time, the province sent 305 invitations to skilled workers and graduates.
Invitations and passing scores were distributed as follows:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba — 206 invitations, a minimum score of 775;
- Skilled Workers Overseas — 43 invitations, a minimum score of 673;
- International Educational Stream — 56 invitations, no passing score required.
Among those who received invitations, 31 candidates had profiles in the federal Express Entry system.
The previous draw for specialists and graduates took place on November 18. In the new drawing, the passing scores were reduced, but last time skilled workers overseas and international graduates received significantly more invitations.
