Manitoba had a small selection
The province called for qualified specialists and university graduates.
On January 27, 315 candidates received invitations to apply for the province's Manitoba nomination. The selection process was based on Manitoba's immigration program among qualified people who are already in the province, qualified people from abroad and Manitoba graduates.
Invitations and passing grades in the "Expression of Interest" system were distributed as follows:
- skilled professionals in Manitoba — 212 invitations, minimum score 609;
- skilled professionals abroad — 63 invitations, minimum score 703;
- international educational stream — 40 invitations, no points required.
69 out of 315 invitations were sent to candidates with an active profile in the Express Entry system. Compared to previous selection, which took place on January 13, scores for specialists in Manitoba increased sharply, while scores for specialists abroad decreased slightly.
Keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations to increase your chances of receiving a nomination from the Province of Manitoba.
