Manitoba's first immigration selection in 2022
Two weeks after New Year's Day, the province held an invitation drawing.
On January 13, 443 applicants were invited to apply for the province's Manitoba nomination. The selection process was based on Manitoba's immigration program among qualified people who are already in the province, qualified people from abroad and Manitoba graduates.
Invitations and passing grades in the "Expression of Interest" system were distributed as follows:
- skilled professionals in Manitoba — 357 invitations, minimum score 459;
- skilled professionals abroad — 53 invitations, minimum score 711;
- international educational stream — 33 invitations, no points required.
97 invitations out of 443 were sent to candidates with an active Express Entry profile.
Keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations to increase your chances of receiving a nomination from the Province of Manitoba.
