Manitoba held an immigration raffle
The province has splurged on immigration selections.
On June 7, 142 candidates received invitations to apply for nomination from the province of Manitoba.
Selection was made by Manitoba's immigration program among qualified professionals who are already in Manitoba, qualified professionals from abroad and Manitoba graduates.
The invitations along with the requirements for the "Expression of Interest" (EOI) assessment were distributed as follows:
- skilled professionals in Manitoba — 95 invitations, minimum score 375;
- skilled professionals abroad — 25 invitations, minimum score 708;
- international education stream — 22 invitations, EOI points are not required.
Manitoba's previous drawing, which took place on May 27, was for qualified overseas professionals only, and the passing score was significantly lower.
Keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations to increase your chances of receiving a nomination from the Province of Manitoba.
