Immigration to Saskatchewan - Canada's provincial program (SINP)

Immigration to Saskatchewan - Canada

You can immigrate to Canada through one of the provincial programs, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.

Saskatchewan is one of the Prairie provinces, along with Alberta and Manitoba. Saskatchewan's economy relies mainly on agriculture, forestry, and fishing. There are only two major cities in the province, Saskatoon and Regina. Most of the area of Saskatchewan is covered by vast expanses of unspoiled wilderness.

Applicants who do not score the required points for immigration to Canada through the federal program can try to immigrate through one of the 11 provincial programs. They are suitable for a wide range of occupations. These programs are also interesting for those who plan to live and work in a particular province or territory.

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) includes several streams.

International Skilled Worker

This direction includes the following streams:

Saskatchewan Experience

This direction includes streams for candidates who have worked in the province for at least 6 months:

Entrepreneurs can immigrate to Saskatchewan through one of the following streams:

  • Entrepreneur stream is for candidates who wish to buy out a business or become a partner in a Saskatchewan business and actively manage it;
  • Farm Owner and Operator stream is for entrepreneurs who are planning to invest in a farm business in Saskatchewan;
  • International Graduate Entrepreneur stream is for Saskatchewan graduates who are planning to start a business in the province.
