Immigration to Saskatchewan for skilled workers with employment offer
People who have found work in Saskatchewan can immigrate through the International Skilled Worker – Employment Offer stream.
The International Skilled Worker — Employment Offer stream of Saskatchewan's provincial program allows professionals who have received an offer of employment in the province in certain professions to immigrate.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the International Skilled Worker — Employment Offer stream, you must meet the following requirements:
- have at least 1 year of work experience within the last 10 years;
- get a job offer in Saskatchewan:
- in NOC skills level 0, A or B occupation (managerial, skilled and trades occupations);
- or in an occupation that is on the demand list;
- demonstrate proficiency in English or French at level 4 on the CLB scale (basic level);
- score a minimum of 60 out of 110 on the Saskatchewan scoring system (see below).
Health professions are not eligible for the International Skilled Worker — Employment Offer stream. There is a separate Health Professionals stream for them.
Candidate evaluation
Saskatchewan uses the provincial "Expression of Interest" grading system, in which you can score up to 110 points. You must score a minimum of 60 to participate in the stream. Points are awarded as follows:
