Immigration to Saskatchewan through the Express Entry system

Professionals in demand in Saskatchewan can immigrate through the Saskatchewan Express Entry stream.

The Saskatchewan Express Entry stream of Saskatchewan's provincial program is designed for candidates who are registered in the federal Express Entry system and have experience in an in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan.

Eligibility

If you intend to apply for the Saskatchewan Express Entry stream, you need:

  • an Express Entry account and compliance with the requirements of one of the federal immigration programs:
  • a diploma or certificate for at least one year's academic program;
  • an occupation that refers to TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 according to the National Occupational Classification, NOC (managerial, skilled, and trades occupations), and is not on the excluded list;
  • work experience:
    • 1 year within the last 10 years for skilled professionals;
    • 2 years within the last 5 years for tradespeople;
  • a minimum of 60 points out of 110 on the scoring system (see below).

Candidate evaluation

You must score 60 points out of 110 on the Saskatchewan Expression of Interest system for your immigration application to be considered. Points are awarded as follows:
