Immigration to Saskatchewan for international graduate entrepreneurs
Graduates of Saskatchewan institutions who want to start a business in the province can immigrate through the International Graduate Entrepreneur stream.
The International Graduate Entrepreneur stream of Saskatchewan's provincial program is designed for candidates who have graduated from a college or university in Saskatchewan and want to establish a business in the province.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the International Graduate Entrepreneur stream, you must meet the following requirements:
- be at least 21 years old;
- complete at least a 2-year academic program in Saskatchewan, with residency in the province for the entire period of study;
- get a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) for 2 years or more;
- demonstrate proficiency in English or French at level 7 on the CLB scale.
If the province approves you to start a business, you will have to meet the following conditions:
- reside in Saskatchewan;
- own and operate a business in the province for 1 year;
- own at least one-third (33%) of the business;
- demonstrate that the business is generating revenue;
- sign a Business Performance Agreement with the Saskatchewan government.
