Ontario invites applications from candidates with French proficiency
But there were far fewer invitations than usual.
On July 25, Ontario selected 95 immigration candidates under the provincial program. They were French-speaking skilled workers.

In this selection, candidates needed to score between 321 and 374 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System. Points are awarded for education, language skills, age, work experience, and so on.
The previous draw for French-speaking workers was held on June 5, in which the province of Ontario invited only candidates with certain professions.
