Saskatchewan is pleased again with a large number of invitations

The province has held two consecutive immigration selections.

On May 3 and 4, Saskatchewan held draws under its immigration program. One of the selections was for professionals and the other one was for entrepreneurs. The total number of invitations was 1,066.

In the drawing for professionals, 1,032 candidates received invitations:

Participants in the streams needed to score a minimum of 68 points on the scoring system. Saskatchewan awards points for factors such as education, language skills, work experience, age, and connections to the province. Candidates also needed to have experience in one of the following occupations:

The previous selection for specialists was held on April 20, and the passing score was 1 point higher.

In the second draw, which was held on May 4 for entrepreneurs, 34 invitations were issued. Applicants were required to score between 100 and 125 points on the scoring system. The previous selection for entrepreneurs was held on March 2, and the minimum score was 20 points lower.
