New draw for Prince Edward Island residency candidates

On April 20, Prince Edward Island sent out invitations to candidates for the provincial immigration program. They were received by professionals of various qualifications and entrepreneurs. A total of 189 people were selected.

180 invitations were sent in the following streams:

• PEI Express Entry stream;
• Labour Impact category:
  • Skilled Workers in PEI;
  • Critical Workers;
  • International Graduates.

9 invitations went to entrepreneurs who scored at least 72 points in the evaluation system. The previous draw for professionals and entrepreneurs took place on March 16. The passing score for businessmen was 20 points lower. And on March 30 there was a drawing only for professionals.
