New job fairs for different professions
Three events already this spring!
The province of New Brunswick has announced three new job fairs that will take place live in different countries and are suitable for workers in several sectors.
Schedule
Events are scheduled for March and April:
- March 25: job fair in Dublin, Ireland, for health care professionals;
- March 27-29: fair in Dubai, UAE, for IT, health care and trades professions;
- April 1-2: fair in Utrecht, Netherlands, for IT, health care, transport and trades professions.
Nationals of all countries who have the opportunity to attend one or more events are eligible to participate. Their spouses and partners, regardless of profession, may also participate.
Requirements
A minimum of 1 year work experience in a suitable occupation is required to participate. You will also need a Canadian-format CV when registering.
Health care:
- nursing co-ordinators and supervisors;
- licensed practical nurses;
- psychologists;
- registered nurses;
- nurse aides, orderlies, and patient service associates;
- specialists in surgery;
- general practitioners and family physicians;
- veterinarians;
- physiotherapists;
- occupational therapists;
- allied primary health practitioners;
- professional occupations in health diagnosing and treatment;
- paramedics;
- technical occupations in therapy and assessment;
- social workers;
- respiratory therapists, clinical perfusionists, and cardiopulmonary technologists.
Information and communication technology:
- computer engineers;
- data scientists;
- cybersecurity specialists;
- business systems specialists;
- information systems specialists;
- database analysts and data administrators;
- computer systems developers and programmers;
- software engineers and designers;
- software developers and programmers;
- web designers;
- web developers and programmers;
- computer network and web technicians;
- user support technicians;
- information systems testing technicians.
Trades occupations:
- production managers;
- machinists;
- welders;
- carpenters;
- aviation mechanics and inspectors;
- maintenance technicians;
- truck drivers;
- industrial machine sewing operators.
