Second record draw from Prince Edward Island

On February 16, Prince Edward Island held a new immigration draw for various candidates. A total of 228 invitations were sent. This is the second record-breaking drawing in a row for the number of applicants selected.

222 invitations were sent to candidates in the following provincial program streams:

• PEI Express Entry;
• candidates in demand in the labor market:
  • Skilled Workers in PEI;
  • Critical Workers;
  • International Graduates.

The remaining 6 invitations went to entrepreneurs who scored at least 70 points in the evaluation system. In the previous draw, which took place on January 19, the passing score was 8 points lower.
