Ontario holds a draw with a record low score

But the list of occupations is very limited.

On February 9, Ontario held another draw under the provincial immigration program. This time, skilled trades workers were selected.

Invitations were extended to 510 candidates who scored between 260 and 489 on the Comprehensive Ranking System and had experience in one of the 5 specialties:

The minimum score in the drawing was very low. In the previous draw, which took place on January 13, the score was 76 points higher.

The Skilled Trades stream is for candidates who are registered in the Express Entry system and meet the requirements of one of the federal immigration programs:

Points are awarded for age, education, language skills, work experience, and other factors.

Ontario regularly conducts immigration draws for different specialists. Keep an eye on the history of passing scores and the number of invitations to increase your chances of immigration.
