Manitoba held two immigration draws at once

One was general, and the other was targeted at citizens of one country.

On September 14 and 15, Manitoba held two immigration draws under the provincial immigration program. In two days, the region sent out 445 invitations.

On September 14, there was a special draw for citizens of Ukraine, in which the province chose 9 candidates. They had to meet the following requirements:

  • have a minimum of CLB 4 language level, proved by a language test;
  • have connections to Manitoba (e.g. relatives, friends, previous employment or studies in the province).

The previous draw for Ukrainians took place on July 18, conditions have not changed.

Manitoba held a general draw on September 15 in which it selected 436 skilled workers and international graduates. The invitations and passing scores were distributed as follows:

150 invited candidates were registered in the federal Express Entry system.
