British Columbia invites in-demand specialists
The province has held another immigration draw.
On August 30, British Columbia invited in-demand professionals under the provincial immigration program. The province sent out a total of 259 invitations.
Among the candidates:
- 207 technical specialists;
- 29 early childhood educators and assistants;
- 13 health care professionals;
- 5 nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates;
- less than 5 veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
Passing scores were distributed as follows:

The previous draw for technical specialists was on August 3. The passing score was 5 points lower. The draw for the other professions was held on August 23, and the passing scores have not changed. Follow the provincial draw history to ensure you don't miss your chance to be invited.
