British Columbia invites in-demand specialists

The province has held another immigration draw.

On August 30, British Columbia invited in-demand professionals under the provincial immigration program. The province sent out a total of 259 invitations.

Among the candidates:

Passing scores were distributed as follows:

Occupation Minimum score Streams of the provincial program
Technical specialists 95 Skilled Worker, International Graduate (including Express Entry option)
Early childhood educators and assistants 60 Skilled Worker, International Graduate (including Express Entry option)
Health care professionals 60 Skilled Worker, International Graduate (including Express Entry option), Entry Level and Semi-Skilled
Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates 60 Entry Level and Semi-Skilled
Veterinarians and veterinary technicians 60 Skilled Worker, International Graduate (including Express Entry option)

The previous draw for technical specialists was on August 3. The passing score was 5 points lower. The draw for the other professions was held on August 23, and the passing scores have not changed. Follow the provincial draw history to ensure you don't miss your chance to be invited.
