New draw in Manitoba
The province continues to bring in qualified professionals and graduates.
On Aug. 26, Manitoba held a selection process for the provincial immigration program. There were 353 candidates from streams for professionals in Manitoba, professionals from abroad and foreign graduates of the province's universities.
Invitations and passing grades are distributed as follows:
- skilled professionals in Manitoba — 259 invitations, minimum score 619;
- skilled professionals abroad — 58 invitations, minimum score 708;
- international educational stream — 36 invitations, no passing grade required.
Of the selected candidates, 79 were registered in Express Entry.
The previous draw in Manitoba was August 11, 2022. In the new draw, the passing scores have dropped slightly.
