Manitoba releases pre-selection results
During the year 2021, the province welcomed 11,179 participants to the provincial immigration program.
On December 30, 393 candidates were invited to apply for nomination from the province of Manitoba. Selection was through the Manitoba Immigration Program among qualified individuals who are already in the province, qualified individuals from overseas and Manitoba university graduates.
Invitations and passing grades in the "Expression of Interest" system were distributed as follows:
- skilled professionals in Manitoba — 332 invitations, minimum score 375;
- skilled professionals abroad — 35 invitations, minimum score 726;
- international educational stream — 26 invitations, no points required.
73 invitations out of 393 were sent to candidates with an active profile in Express Entry.
Compared to previous drawing, which took place on December 16, passing scores for specialists in Manitoba have decreased and those for overseas specialists have increased.
