Manitoba holds a major selection again
This is the second draw in a row in which many candidates have been invited.
On September 23, 650 candidates received invitations to apply for nomination from the province of Manitoba. The selection process was based on Manitoba's immigration program among qualified individuals who are already in the province, qualified individuals from overseas and Manitoba graduates.
Invitations and passing grades in the "Expression of Interest" system were distributed as follows:
- skilled professionals in Manitoba — 529 invitations, minimum score 401;
- skilled professionals abroad — 67 invitations, minimum score 718;
- international educational stream — 54 invitations, no points required.
135 invitations out of 650 were sent to candidates with an active profile in the Express Entry system.
Compared to previous drawing, which took place on September 2, passing scores for qualified professionals in Manitoba have dropped significantly, and conversely, for professionals overseas have risen.
Keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations to increase your chances of receiving a nomination from the Province of Manitoba.
