Prince Edward Island has sent out invitations for immigration
The selection process took place among professionals, graduates and entrepreneurs.
On August 19, Prince Edward Island's immigration program issued 161 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination.
As part of the drawing, 9 invitations were received by candidates of entrepreneurial stream who scored at least 72 points. This is 3 points lower than in the previous selection, which took place on July 15.
Another 152 invitations were distributed between the two streams:
- candidates registered in Express Entry and invited to submit an initial application;
- candidates with the skills and experience needed in the provincial labour market — this stream includes three streams:
- qualified professionals;
- intermediate and low skilled workers;
- graduates Prince Edward Island.
The province did not provide a breakdown of the number of candidates invited between all streams, nor the minimum score required for each category.
