The results of the new selection of Prince Edward Island have been announced
Since the beginning of the year, the province has invited more than 1,000 candidates.
On July 15, Prince Edward Island Immigration Programme issued 127 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination.
As part of the drawing, 9 invitations were received by candidates of entrepreneurial stream who scored at least 75 points. This is 15 points higher than in the previous selection, which took place on June 17.
A further 118 invitations were distributed between the two streams:
- candidates registered in Express Entry and invited to submit an initial application;
- candidates with the skills and experience needed in the provincial labour market — this stream includes three streams:
- skilled professionals who are currently working on Prince Edward Island;
- intermediate and low-skilled workers who are currently working in Prince Edward Island;
- graduates who have graduated from a Prince Edward Island institution of higher learning and are now working in the province.
The province did not provide a breakdown of the number of candidates invited between all streams, nor the minimum score required for each category.
To maximize your chances of receiving an invitation to apply for a nomination, we recommend keeping an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
