Prince Edward Island held a raffle among immigration applicants

In one of the streams, the passing score was significantly reduced.

On June 17, Prince Edward Island issued 113 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination. Selection was through the Prince Edward Island Provincial Programme.

As part of the drawing, 12 invitations were awarded to candidates from the entrepreneurial stream who scored at least 60 points. This is 20 points lower than in the previous selection, which took place on May 20.

Another 101 invitations were distributed between the two streams:

  • candidates registered in Express Entry and invited to submit an initial application;
  • candidates with the skills and experience needed in the provincial labour market — this stream includes three streams:

The province did not provide a breakdown of the number of candidates invited between all streams, nor the minimum score required for each category.

To maximize your chances of receiving an invitation to apply for a nomination, we recommend keeping an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
