Manitoba has shared the results of a new immigration raffle
The third selection for the current year brings the total number of invitations to 993.
On Feb. 27, 207 candidates received invitations to apply for nomination from the province of Manitoba.
Manitoba Immigration Program has screened qualified professionals who are already in Manitoba; qualified professionals from abroad; and Manitoba university graduates.
The invitations, also known as letters of recommendation of application, together with the corresponding requirements for the evaluation of "Expression of Interest" (EOI) were distributed as follows:
- skilled workers in Manitoba — 158 invitations, minimum score at least 457;
- skilled workers abroad — 21 invitations, minimum score at least 698;
- international educational stream — 28 invitations, EOI points are not required.
Passing scores in streams for skilled workers are down from previous selection, which took place Feb. 12.
Keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations to increase your chances of receiving an invitation.
