Prince Edward Island held its first invitation drawing in 2024
Selection for different categories of applicants.
On January 18, Prince Edward Island sent out another round of invitations to successful applicants. A total of 136 people in all categories have received such invitations.
2 invitations were given to participants of the entrepreneurial stream. The minimum score for them was 80 points, which is the usual indicator for such selections, but the previous time it was still much higher.
The remaining 134 invitations were distributed among applicants in the following categories:
- PEI Express Entry;
- Labour Impact:
Applicants with a profile in Express Entry, skilled workers and critical workers needed to score between 65 points on the provincial scoring system and work in Prince Edward Island.
The province last held such an immigration screening on Nov. 16, when the minimum score was lower. On Dec. 21, invitations were sent to health care, food processing and construction workers.
